Map reset information.

The map reset has officially been scheduled for July 10 at 10PM PST (tonight)!
The map reset is happening very, very soon! Hope you guys got your stuff!

Only items in your inventory will be transferred to the new map. Please place all items that you want to carry over to the new map inside of your inventory at least a day before the reset to ensure the items you want are transferred. It is highly recommended that you go to /spawn and log out at least a day before the reset. Otherwise, you might end up in a mountain on the new map and die. IF YOU LOSE YOUR ITEMS IN ANY WAY, I WILL NOT REPLACE THEM. I highly recommend taking screenshots of your inventory, in-game money balance, and mcMMO stats just in case. While this won't guarantee replacement of anything, it could be helpful.

The Nether is being reset as well. DO NOT TRY TO TRANSFER ITEMS BY PLACING THEM IN CHESTS IN THE NETHER. THEY WILL BE WIPED.

As soon as the map is reset and the server is up, I will enable one virtual chest per player for 3 days. This is to ensure you don't lose all your valuables while building your base. You should store all your transferred items immediately in the virtual chest. Then go build your base and put your items in real chests. After 3 days, the virtual chests will be disabled so make sure you put your items in to real chests ASAP.
Update: It looks like the virtual chest plugin we will be using is Backpack. You can click that link and read about the plugin to become more familiar with it before the map reset. Basically, you just type /backpack to bring up your "virtual chest" (after the reset when the plugin is installed). 

There are also some major changes that will take place during the time of the map reset.

• Archery will be capped at level 500. Axes will be capped at level 750. You will not be able to level up past those numbers. If your Archery or Axe skill is already above the coming cap, I will record your stat level and edit it back down to the cap. I will then give you an opportunity to move the levels into another skill(s). Note: I must approve of the proposed skill transfer (obviously).
• Factions will be capped at 20 members. This is to prevent super Factions from dominating the server and also to cut down on the amount of alts horded by Factions.

The selling of diamond has been disabled until after the reset. This is to stop people unloading all their duped diamonds that don't fit in their inventories.


Note: If you have donated for a mob spawner, please contact me before the map reset so I can check them for verification. IF YOU DO NOT CONTACT ME BEFORE THE MAP RESET, IT IS HIGHLY IMPROBABLE THAT I WILL REPLACE THEM. I will only transfer spawners for the ORIGINAL donor. I will be checking PayPal records if needed. Also, if you think this is an opportunity to lie to get a free spawner, I will know if you're lying and I will ban you.
